Copy And Paste Data Between Excel Sheets Does Not Work When Smart View Add-In Enabled

If you are facing problems to made a simple copy and paste operation between two MS Excel sheets when Smart View is enabled follow this:

Applies to: Hyperion Financial Management – Version: 11.1.2.0.00 to 11.1.2.1.000 – Release: 11.1 to 11.2

Cause: This is an issue with Lotus compatibility settings enabled in MS Office 2003 and 2007

Solution: Uncheck the Transition formula evaluation and transition formula entry which is under advanced Lotus compatibility(Excel Options).
